Printing the samurai card boxes

2020-01-31 by David

We have a little gaming accessory to announce today, for all you samurai wargamers out there - the Samurai Card Box!!

We've already released a few gaming accessories to brighten up your samurai boards, such as the Sword Rulers, Bamboo Token Cup and Blood Drop Markers, and this time we're turning our attention to the cards that sometimes come with many wargames.

£ These are designed to fit standard card sizes such as those for Test of Honour and Bushido, and are modelled to look like antique wooden boxes from old Japan.

There are a few different variations, as shown in the photo above. On the left we have the simplest version - old wood, with metal decorative pieces on each corner. In the middle we have the same wooden box, but with extra metal pieces. On the right we have a version with an inset circle on the front, so you can personalise your box by mounting a clan crest (Oda clan is shown here).

£ 3 symbols are included in the set - Clan Oda, Clan Yamato (also known as the Imperial Crest), and the kanji symbol for "samurai". You can also choose any of the clan crests from the Clan Symbols Set!

£ Built-in clips hold the lid in place when you're moving around, and a gentle squeeze front and back will allow the lid to slide off.

Looking forward to painting these up in a variety of colours this weekend - should be VERY fast to finish!
