Assembling the samurai stone walls

2018-08-22 by David

Our little Tevo Tornado has been busy this week, printing away lots of sections from the new Samurai Stone Walls Set! These will be hitting the paint desk shortly, and will be available for download very soon...

£ That's a whole lot of walls, eh?!

£ I'm very, very happy with the detail that our Tornado managed to print (at 0.1mm layers) on the roof tile sections, which gives a super realistic finish ideal for painting and drybrushing.

£ By far the most fun piece of the set is this gateway section, with doors that ACTUALLY SLIDE!! I'm like a little kid with a new toy... Tongue out

£ Looking forward to adding magnets to these and watching them click together instantly!

£ Here's the official CG render for the set. Of course the set also includes straight walls (2 types) and corner pieces!

£ A high-angle shot, showing the accurate roof tile shapes. It's details like this (and the realistic stone textures) that should make it look much, much better than laser cut MDF terrain.

£ Here are the different sections included in the set. The bar windows are ideally placed for lowly peasant archers. Stone bases are detachable.

£ Two types of sliding door are included, and can be swapped out or removed during play.

£ Quite a solid defensive wall for your lord's property.

£ Lastly, this is the back view of the gateway. You can kind of see the details of the supporting posts and under-roof joists. The gateway, by the way, requires simple gluing of the 7 pieces.
