Our newest set for our samurai range has just come off the printer - Zen Garden Bases!
So if you want to have your samurai warriors stomping through the tranquility of a peaceful Japanese rock garden, you've come to the right place!
£ We printed an assortment of the bases from the set (all at 0.2mm layer height) to show off the various options.....
£ First up we have a unified set of ten 25mm square bases. If you push them together they form one larger rock garden design.
£ Those some designs have also been used for the ten 25mm round bases included in the set. All the bases include a hole underneath for 5mm x 1mm magnets, by the way.
£ Also included in the set are these four 40mm square bases, which again can be used as a combined diorama base.
£ ... and of course the same designs in 40mm round versions!
£ We're super big fans of the samurai skirmish game Test of Honour here, so we also wanted to include this 60mm 3-model group base, with removable 25mm inserts.
If you look again at the first photo in this blog post, you can see that the inset area beneath each base is also textured with the same rock garden design - in case your models get cut down mid-game!
£ But not to leave out games like Bushido, where round lipped bases are the norm, we also included these three versions of a round lip base. You can print your choice of round base (adjusting the scale slightly in your slicer software) and simply insert into the correct size!
