Our new (pretty huge!) terrain set for the samurai range has just been released - the feudal Japanese Castle Walls Set is now available for download!
We've been taking some picturesque photos of the painted models, so here you are....
£ Just a peek of what's included in the set - here you can see the gateway section and a couple of corner sections. Inner and outer corners are included, letting you build pretty much any layout you can think of!
£ Using the plastic clips (or magnets) it's a very quick job to rearrange the sections into new layouts.
£ The gates actually open, of course, and can be barred using the wooden locking bar.
£ For those of you who are wondering, YES, we are indeed planning to release a Japanese castle building too at some point soon!
£ For our own castle walls set, we used log fences for a couple of sections, just to give more options.
£ The inside of the walls can be detailed with these optional support posts, with carefully textured woodgrain on them.
Also in this photo, you can see the realistic texture detail on the log fences, which I'm particularly proud of!
£ The inside of the slope section has fully textured ground surfaces, and the steps should be big enough for even models on horseback to balance safely.
£ Now for some shots of the castle walls in action!! The arrow slits are sloped slightly downwards, letting your archers pour arrows down on your enemies.
£ Aren't guards the greatest? 
Here are our gate guards, doing a bang up job of dealing with a visiting lord and protecting the castle.... or are they?
£ Classic movie scene : ninja assassins successfully infiltrate the castle, only to meet their match against an equally deadly warrior.
